CHRIS CHARTERIS

Hey there, My name is Chris.
I’m an actor, writer and comedian, born in Brisbane with over 12 years of professional industry experience. I graduated from university with a Bachelor in Contemporary Theatre in 2013 and have since gone on to tackle the film and television industry.
I moved to Sydney in 2016 to further my career and built up an extensive resume of acting credits, recently starred as a lead actor in films such as A Bad Influence (2022) and Falling in Slow Motion (2023).
I’ve been involved in sketch comedy ever since my days at university and started my own YouTube channel in 2014 (Charterboat Comedy) and my own production company (ARC Productions) in 2019 where we create comedy sketches, short films, and other comedic content.
I am also one of the hosts of the ‘Hashtag Actors Life’ podcast and with various projects on the way, look to continue my career as an actor and comedian across Australia and beyond.
